RALLYE de MONTAGNE
Saturday 12:30 PM 1:00 PM
Depart when you want - Shotgun Start
The challenging fifty-mile “Rallye de Montagne” is a soaring climb to the top of the highest mountain on the Florida peninsula and the most prominent spot in the entire State.

Test the handling and performance of your MG on the two-lane back roads of Lake County which have elevation changes and curves that resemble the roads in Western North Carolina. Enjoy the sights of Old Florida farmland, groves, wildlife, and lakes. Accept the personal mission for you and your co-driver to navigate the route with accuracy.
The rallye runs after the Car Show on Saturday in a shotgun start with the first rallye team departing at 1:00. The final leg is a spirited jaunt to arrive back at the at the Mission Inn for afternoon seminars, events, and the Gala Awards Banquet.
Due to the amazingly high popularity of the Rallye de Montagne, two routes have been developed to reduce the number of cars on the road at one time. Both routes will ascend to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain, but by different routes and arriving at different times. One route passes J. B. Boondocks Restaurant, a former fish camp, for lunch if you didn’t have a chance for lunch before starting. The other route passes by the Yalaha German Bakery. Choose a route, print the instructions, enjoy the challenge, the roads, and the scenery on the Rallye de Montagne!
